St Andrews
Community Officers
PC 594 John Macleod
I joined Fife Constabulary in 2001 after serving 16 years in the
RAF, which included being a member of both RAF Leuchars and RAF
Kinloss Mountain Rescue Teams. Although being brought up in
Glasgow, Fife has been my home since 1986.
So far, my career with Fife Constabulary has seen me working at
all the stations in North East Fife, although a majority of my
service has been spent at St Andrews. Since 2007, I have been
attached to the Community Team at St Andrews and you may have even
seen me out and about on my bike during school lunch times,
educating school pupils or patrolling the golf course during the
Dunhill Golf Championships.
St Andrews has a large student population, which in turn is
replaced during the summer months by visitors and tourists. This
results in a diverse and mixed population which, when brought
together, creates opportunities and challenges which sometimes
requires closer engagement with the local community. To that end, I
am looking forward to working with the residents of St Andrews to
identify and address any local issues that may concern you.
PC 537 Tamantha
Campbell
I joined Fife Constabulary in 1990. I was previously stationed
at Dunfermline and Anstruther. This is my second posting to St
Andrews. In October 2008 I took up the post of community constable
for the Town Centre. I live in the North East Fife area.
